Up + Over the Plateau...

IMG_0955

We awoke our generous host's house (thanks tony!) and packed up ready to cycle to Alstonville High. From Broadwater we took a scenic country route through the sugarcane fields to the base of the plateau. Another 10km of uphill took us to the school. We presented the skit and the 'clothing workshop' to a small yet dedicated group of students. Upon leaving we received cheers from a street full of school kids and parents who had seen us on the TV news!! Celebrity status already!! We then made our way to Lismore and crashed out after a well deserved meal provided by locals Sacha, Joanne and Heather. YUMMO!! - Greg

Welcome to the VIC Bicycle Tour Groovy Vibes and Road Blog

We will try and keep an ongoing record of what's been happening along our 6 week journey throughout rural Victoria on this blog and our newsletter. We are all starting to prepare for this big journey and think it will be a really amazing rural loop. In the time that we will be on the road we will meet many different people, living in a cycling community for 6 weeks, and educating youth about sustainable consumption!

We all can't wait to jump onto our bikes and hit the road!

PS - Thanks so much to all of those individuals who have supported us along the way it means so much to Otesha and our ability to make this project happen each year!

Welcome to the NSW Bicycle Tour Funky Vibes and Road Blog

We will try and keep an ongoing record of what's been happening along our journey on this blog and our newsletter. It's going to be an amazing trip travelling from Brisbane all the way down to Newcastle over 1000 KM's, meeting new faces, living in a cycling community for 5 weeks, and trying to "be the change [we] want to see in the world!"

We all can't wait to jump onto our bikes and hit the road!
