Help Us Grow

So you might be interested in volunteering for our organisation in some way.

There are heaps of movement and bike repairs happenin’ at our little office in Melbourne to get things rollin for our next tours. Along with good development is the need to get little things done along the way (but remember little things actually equate to massive things in the scheme of things – like getting new brake pads rather than using old worn wooorn pads that you can’t even stop with).

Hmmm I might be interested…

Cool. Well here’s a list of things that we are thinking that we need help with at the moment so if you are keen please give a boo (pronounced --- boo – like a ghost) and let us know what you would like to work on – info [at] sustainia [dot] org [dot] au

Helpin us out

Here’s a brief list of things that we think we could use your help with but if you have an idea of something you’d like to do let us know and we’ll see if we can integrate that! Thanks again for considering us it means a lot to our success, organisation, and frankly we aren’t anything without you guys.

  • Getting youth commitment – We want to redesign our existing postcard and figure out how to funk up the postcard that we are currently using
  • Making some new slideshows – We’d like to create a Removing the Blinders and Positive futures presentation and so we need some research stats (we’ll tell you the areas)
  • Keep those spokes moving with equipment – So with two regional tours we realise we need some equipment to help support our movements better. This would include things like contacting various companies about donations for trailers, bike repair equipment, etc. This is a pretty essential and helpful thing to organise especially if you are good at getting buy in from people!
  • Throw a fundraising party - The funds that could be collected would help us run these tours in the future, purchase equipment, and also further develop our existing programs.
  • Put the word out on the street - With our help you can help us advertise by contacting local radio stations, university newspapers, or even put up a few posters here and there which would mean a LOT!

If you have a suggestion or idea on how you think you could help please don't hesitate to drop us a line at either info [at] otesha [dot] org [dot] au or 04 2838 5011.

Thank you thank you thank you! Your work is valued heaps!
