The Otesha Project (Australia): Cycling for Sustainability

Got a few extra coins kicking around your floor? Why not send them in an envelope to our place. If we collect enough we could buy some bike repair equipment, pay for some of our work, or just create a coin collection.

Seriously folks, it has been amasing at the existing contributions that have received to date. We have had some generous in-kind donations, grants, and other donations that have helped us get where we are today. The biggest challenge that we face today is trying to fund everything that we want to get done while making our tours completely affordable to those riding.

What kind of support are you looking for?

Our organisation is run by some dedicated peeps who are dilegently setting up all the tours that will happen at the end of the year. Support can come from in-kind donations of equipment for tours, monetary donation, or even purchasing a membership. Every little bit helps us get that much closer to our vision of a sustainable future!

Currently, the crew in the office and elsewhere are volunteering about 80% of the time to get everything coordinated, and additional time is paid for through speaking engagements and other funding. Your support to date has been really amasing.

If I donate money what would it be used towards?

Your money would go towards the further development of our presentation used on tour, paying coordinators & staff, bicycle repair equipment, cooking equipment, and so SOO much more!
