The BIG news is our amazing, inspiring, fun loving, ever laughing ever smiling sustainabot for ever in action Co-Director Ange is stepping down from her position with Otesha to – GET MARRIED and BUILD A SUSTAINABLE HOUSE in STAWELL!! WOW!! Congratulations Ange-Woo!! We love and will miss you!! Ange has been with Otesha for 5 years! And believes it is time to let someone just as inspired and active to take the reigns while she moves on to a new and amazing adventure in her life!   So, read more about how you can apply to be the next Funky Co-Director, or nominate yourself to be on our inspiring Management Committee, with our AGM only 1 month away! AGM Announcement Funky Co-Director Final Reminder – 30 May Application Deadline Winter Warmer Otesha Catchup Gathering   AGM Announcement   It’s coming to that time of year again where we review our successes and our lessons learnt, and bring together our members old and new for our AGM. This will be held on Wednesday 30th June. At this meeting we can officially nominate and vote for new committee members as well as announce those wishing to stand down. If you are interested or know of anyone who may be interested in being on the management committee it would be great to hear from you!   You don’t have to be based in Melbourne – you can be anywhere in Australia or even overseas (if you like staying up late or getting up really early for meetings!) Your role would involve attending monthly committee meetings, via skype or in person, and participating in management committee working groups on special Otesha projects that you are particularly interested in! These can be for example grant writing and reviewing, the Take Action Project that is under development, to presenting workshops at Universities and festivals on behalf of Otesha or helping to organise fundraising events! How awesome does that sound!!   You only need to commit a relatively small amount of time toward the position, out of your busy lives and full schedules. But your insight, experience and support is invaluable to us and makes us feel like we have a team behind us and the projects to inspire and educate that we are trying hard to do!

Any signed nominations should be sent to The Secretary, The Otesha Project, PO Box 1121 Thornbury Vic 3071 or scanned and signed nominations by email (info@otesha.org.au) before the 23 June 2010. Include a brief bio with the nomination!   1. Introduction to the rules of the meeting (by Directors) and renewals of Otesha memberships (to obtain voting rights)
  2. AGM report as slideshow presentation (by Director/s)
  3. Financial Report (by Treasurer)
  4. Special business (i.e. special changes to the organization)
  5. Council elections (4 executive and 4 extraordinary)
  6. Any other agenda items
