Sun, sand, sugarcane, school performance, Sherida's House, beautiful sunrises and good times in Evans Head, Yamba and Grafton.

On Thursday 27th November 2008 we presented our play and workshops to students at Evans Head High School. We then spent the afternoon at the Surf Club workshopping our play (a must to keep it fresh, exciting and energised). Dinner was delicious - curried split pea soup!!
Friday (28th Nov) saw us up bright and early for a 70km ride to Yamba, mostly riding along the Pacific Hwy. We rested by the Clarence River while the cooking group detoured into Maclean and got us lunch (salad, bread, really good relish, bananas and bakery goodness) and bicycle supplies (for some tour members needing bits and pieces). We made it to Yamba in time to pitch our tents at the local Tourist Park before our media session of photography and interviews was due to begin. Dinner was Italian style red lentils cooked in red wine, garlic, herbs and tomatoes. There was a gor-met salad on the side as well.
Saturday (29th Nov) - well deserved FREE DAY. It involved a mix of bike repairs, beaching, killing giant mozzies, writing home, beer, sleeping, movies, cafe-crawls etc.
Then Sunday (30th Nov), off to Grafton....
Peace and bike grease,
Rosalee + Thomasen
