A recent graduate in Arts and Communications, Liz strives to use film as a medium to give a voice to people that might otherwise go unheard. Liz is a joyful and loving person, determined to cultivate optimism and hope in her life and the lives of others. |

As a Californian, Michael loves traveling and organic vegetarian food. His sense of adventure and love for the great outdoors keeps him motivated to try new things, but it is his passion for the community and environment that inspires him to take steps to contributing to a positive global change for our future. |

Alex is happiest outdoors. An avid tree-climber and bike-rider, she seeks out adventure everywhere! While living in Canada she tried her hand at gardening, both in the country and on rooftops in the city, working with people to create green edible spaces. She is passionate about fostering environmental change through education and community based projects, and having fun along the way! |

Inca is an enthusiastic and often nomadic foodie. She recently finished a Bachelor of International Development Studies and is keenly looking forward to living abroad and learning new languages, bike in tow. Inca is passionate about living a life that empowers and contributes to the wellbeing of other people, which is why she is so excited about fostering positive social and environmental change through Otesha. |

Nyssa grew up in the regional seaside town of Geelong. This fostered her love for swimming, sunshine, and the beach. Having recently completed her Bachelor of Environmental Social Science she enthusiastically advocates the importance of youth empowerment, community connectedness, and effective environmental education. She strives to dazzle others with a lively vibe, sense of humour, and passion for life. |

Vanessa Hewson |
After 5 wonderful years teaching the wonders of biology and English, while living in a small rural village in Indonesia, Vanessa has returned to Melbourne to combine her passion for education and environment in The Otesha Project (Australia). She loves being part of a community that believes in the power of education and shared vision to transform perspectives and empower people to make small changes for a sustainable future. When she's not working Vanessa spends time on her beloved bike, drinking chai, and practicing yoga. |

Recent Tour Coordinator of the 2011 Capital City Tour, Emily is the craftiest queen of the Western suburbs! When she is not trying to protect the planet she is stitching, crocheting, and producing beautiful creations. Emily loves going for a dip at the beach, walking in the bush and dancing in the sun. Emily has a warmth and energy that fills the room and loves nothing more then riding around and having adventures! |

Alison, from Normandie, France, is a true lover of the environment. Since graduating from a degree in Social Cultural Studies, Alison has been travelling through South America and is now making her way through Australia. She loves to experience the true culture of a place, straying from the main tourist route and meeting the locals instead. |

I was born in the Philippines while my family was living and working there, I love the tropics and the rain! I currently live in Armidale, NSW, and have also lived in Thailand and parts of the Northern Territory (Nhulunbuy and Darwin) and Newcastle. Last year I started Steiner teacher training in Sydney, and I'm keen to keep that up later this year. Living in harmony with our beautiful plant is a passion of mine, so I'm glad to be here, a part of the 2011 Otesha tour! |

When Josh is not acting and riding he can be found sipping soy lattes on Lygon St, swimming at Fitzroy Pools or saving the world one phone call at a time at Oxfam! Go Careless! |
